Ascension Place’s transitional housing program is a stepping stone from crisis to stability. There are private bedrooms for 32 women in a secure building. Meals are provided in a communal dining room and there are shared bathrooms, laundry facilities, computer room, fitness room, art room, and living room.

Chemical and mental health support
Staff is available 24 hours a day to support women in recovery, with chronic mental illness, healing from trauma, seeking emotional, psychological and social well-being, or who have been homeless. Each woman is paired with a case manager to define her goals for her stay so that she might work toward greater independence. The average stay is eight months, though there is no predetermined time limit.
Eligibility for Ascension Place:
- Be at least 18 years old (the age range tends to be between 18-60).
- Have 60 days sobriety and mental health stability.
