If you are seeking housing for yourself or your family please read our program descriptions and requirements below.

St. Anne’s Place provides emergency shelter to women and their children which includes: basic needs provisions, intensive case management, children’s programming, health and wellness opportunities, and parenting and early childhood education.

Next Step Housing provides permanent supportive housing – both site-based (North Minneapolis) and scattered site (Hennepin County) – to approximately 31 women and families. Each client lives in a one- or two-bedroom apartment, and pay rent supported by GRH, a state-funded subsidy.

Please note: All families seeking housing with St. Anne’s Place or Next Step Housing must contact the Hennepin County Shelter Team at 612-348-9410 (daytime) 612-673-9138 (evenings and weekends), located in the Hennepin County Human Service Center Health Services Building at 525 Portland Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN. The Hennepin County Shelter Team is the first initial point of contact for availability of any open rooms. St. Anne’s Place is unable to accept any self-referrals.

Ascension Place provides transitional housing to single women without dependent children.  Applicants must have 60 days sobriety and 60 days mental health support and be eligible for GRH. Please call 612-588-0861 to inquire about the status of our wait list.  Please note Ascension Place does not accept level 3 sex offenders or women who have recently committed a very violent crime.
